Winemaker notes:
This 2005 Black Coyote Napa Valley Cabernet has a
deep bouquet of plums and cassis, with added hints of
violets, earth, leather, subtle smoke, and huge black cherry
aromas at the end of the bouquet with suggestions of vanilla
oak. The palate displays more plum and black cherry with
additional flavors of jammy red currant mid-palate. This well
balanced wine is silky and velvety with nice tannin structure,
with lingering delicate finish revealing cedar spice and
cocoa powder.
This Cabernet would pair perfectly with Barbeque Pulled
Pork or any hearty beef dish.
